ABOUT ULTIMATE CYCLES

Ultimate Cycles began as a two-bay shop in New Bedford, Massachusetts, in March of 1998. Originally, Daryl "Butch" Thibodeau and Roger "Gary" Sharp formed a partnership with Butch operating the shop on a day-to-day basis. Butch eventually took over sole possession of the shop and now operates it with his girlfriend, Diane. Sadly, Gary passed away on
 May 15th, 2002.

In the last few years, business has grown to the point that Butch now needs three garage bays to hold his customers' bikes, and has three excellent additional technicians on staff: Horace Medeiros, Bingo Parau, and Dave Pereira.

In addition to running the shop, Butch and Diane also produce a cable TV show, called "Ultimate Cycles". Segments include Butch teaching viewers how to perform various kinds of motorcycle repairs themselves using actual demonstrations. Ultimate Cycles had compiled program segments into two-hour videos that can be purchased for home mechanics.

One other thing--When they're not working on bikes, the Ultimate Cycles crew likes to check out the sound of their favorite band, The Mill City Rockers.
